Job Openings
For applicants interested in working in Minnesota, Northland
Counseling Center's International Falls office is located within
Koochiching County, on the border with Canada. This is a community
where many of us are able to leave our homes and cars unlocked,
where housing and taxes are very inexpensive, and where there is
access to such natural beauty as the massive Rainy Lake system
and Voyageurs National Park, minutes from our doorstep. Located in the historic Backus School Building, we are only a 3
hr. drive from Duluth and 6 hr. from Minneapolis/St. Paul and
Winnipeg. This is an area affording escape from urban hustle and
bustle and the opportunity to enjoy year around outdoor activities,
such as canoeing, kayaking, cross-country skiing, hiking, biking,
snowmobiling, boating, fishing, and hunting. The community has a
healthy population of artists, authors, poets, and musicians. Cultural
opportunities in the International Falls, MN and Fort Frances communities include The Rainy Lake Orchestra concerts, the annual
subscription Border Concert Series, Rainy River Community College,
two dance schools, a strong Community Education Program, Prairie
Fire Children's Theater program each summer, along with a number
of local festivals and more!
