Every year, in order to determine what we are doing well and areas we need to improve upon, we do a survey for our clients. We had great feedback about our staff for 2020! Thank you for those that completed the survey. Please complete the new survey by using this link…Thank you. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/northlandcounseling

Consistent with CDC Guidelines, NCC requires face coverings to be worn to enter and while in our office located in the Backus Community Center. Almost all services are offered virtually, however, there may be instances where the public must present in person to our office. Please be sure to call in advance so we can expect you as we have limited staffing. Also note, Backus Community Center requires face masks as well. Thank you in advance and stay healthy!
Office Hours: Monday – Thursday: Open 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am – Noon. If you are feeling ill or have a fever, please call 218-283-3406 to cancel and reschedule your appointment.
Mental Health Services
We currently provide a broad range of safe and effective, outpatient mental health services, including: assessment, evaluations, and testing; individual, couples, family, and group therapy for the general public; as well as specialized services for individuals with serious and persistent mental health issues.
One of the advantages to services provided by a Rule 29 Community Mental Health Center is our important interdisciplinary case consultation model that requires clinicians to obtain feedback and suggestions from other professionals within the agency on each new case and for ongoing complex cases. All services are confidential.
Mobile Crisis Service 211
Over the years, we have served a broad cross-section of community members of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults… Our licensed, friendly, and highly trained staff members are committed to continuing this provision of quality mental health services to our community into the decades to come.
